#1 Bharadvajasana 1 – Bharadvaja’s twist
This is a type of yoga which is found very effective for neck pain. While performing this yoga one needs to sit straight in a proper position, legs being in front of him. Then shift to your right buttock and bend your knees and put your legs to the left. Keep your left hand under your right knee and your right hand beside your right buttock, inhale and exhale deeply.
#2 Marjaryasana – Cat pose
This posture in useful in making our spine flexible and relaxes our mind, neck and shoulders. To perform this become like a cat with your hands and legs on floor and take deep breaths pushing your navel down and tailbone up.
#3 Balasana – Child’s pose
This really helps in relaxing your neck and your back and in relieving constipation and neck pain to perform this you need to sit on your heels like a child and bend your forehead on the floor arms should be kept on the sides resting on the floor just like you are bowing to god. Remain in that position with your chest pressed against the thighs.
#4 Savasana – Corpse pose
Here you need to lid down on the ground like a corpse keeping all your body parts relaxed and your arms alongside with the palms facing up. Close your eyes and relax all parts of your body for some minutes
#5 Bhujangasana – Cobra pose
It relieves our shoulder muscles and vertebrae. To perform this one needs to lie on his stomach with his thighs and feet all stretched and then he must pull his head and chest up by straitening his hands. Thighs and feet must remain on the floor. Should remain in this position for some time after this bring the head back slowly.
